Download MP3Twenty-first Sunday in Ordinary Time (Year B). In our modern culture, we are used to having it all. We get accustomed to not having to make an actual choice of one thing over the other. But as we see in the readings today, in terms of our faith lives, we do indeed need to choose. (Preached on Sunday, August 23th, 2009, 6:00pm, St. Malachy’s Church, Broadway and 49th, Times Square, New York City.)
